Hi! I'm Saumya (pronounced sawm-yaa), and I'm an artist and designer based in India.
Currently a UX designer at Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore, I work on developing new and delightful ways of experiencing our personal electronics. Previously, I've
completed a B.Des+M.Des (a 5-year dual degree in design) with a specialization in Animation at the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay. My student and personal work focuses
on the areas of illustration, animation, and print design.
As an artist, I adore participating in visual development, toying with color, and training myself to tell great stories. I always love a good challenge, or a tricky puzzle.
I'm also a drummer, a bharatnatyam dancer, and an avid seafood-enjoyer.
