In 2025 I was approached by a colleague and friend to turn her aunt's original story vignettes written for her granddaughters, into a printable illustrated book that she could gift to the family. The stories were written about a fictional character named Ms. Millie, who lives in the same world as the author 'Nani' and her grandkids. Totaling 13 little chapters, each teaches a lesson or celebrates a special time and place.

Unlike in commissions from publishers, here I took on the responsibilty of designing and typesetting the entire book along with illustration.
